SUPREME COMMANDER'S MESSAGE

A very Crummy Christmas and a Lousy New Year Cooties!

Wow this year has been packed with Crummy!  It feels like I blinked and it’s already half over.  In October, Patches and I attended the National Home (NH) Trustee Board meeting followed by the Fall Festival.  Get-ting the opportunity to spend multiple days on campus and see the inner workings of the NH was a great opportunity and being able to be on the board for the 100th year anniversary is very special.

Fast forward 2 weeks and we were at Tomb Trek. Being able to place a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was an experience that I cannot express in words and a moment that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Back to the NH for Cootie Christmas where we hopefully started a new tradition of a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in front of the guest house. There was a great turnout for this event despite having snowed and being cold.

Please remember that the holiday season is not always happy for everyone and has been particularly hard this year on Supreme.  We lost past Supreme Quartermaster Gary Dressel suddenly after Cootie Christmas, and then long standing member of the Supreme Provost Marshal team Norris Stevens a week later.  Keep in touch with those that have lost and also our troops that were deployed and not able to return to their families over the holidays.

Increase and Multiply.

On Valentines weekend I will be traveling to Macon to re-institute the Grand of Georgia.  How crummy is that!

Yours in LOTCS,

Robbie Normand
