Frank Joined the VFW, Post 1760 in Mesa, AZ in 2001 and there is served as Chaplain and the VOD/PP Chairman for many years.  He was the driving force behind keeping the Veterans Day Parade alive in Mesa when the city quit funding and supporting it.  He was the first president of the Mesa Veterans Parade Association which has now grown and expanded and is now the East Valley Veterans Parade Association.

In 2020 he moved to Casa Grande, AZ and transferred to Post 1677 where he served as Adjutant, VOD/PP Chairman and has served and is currently serving as Chaplain.  He has also served as the District 10 Adjutant, Inspector, Judge Advocate, and is currently serving as District 10 Sr. Vice.

He was initiated in the Cooties in 2006 into Pup Tent 3 and served as Pup Tent Seam Squirrel from 2007 to 2009.  He is a Life member of the Cooties and has been a member of Pup Tent 10 since 2023. He is currently serving as Seam Squirrel of Pup Tent 10 and was appointed at Grand Chief of Staff in 2024
